When All Else Fails, Pull The Race Card

SCHOOLED

Newt Gingrich received a standing ovation to Juan Williams racially bias question on allowing children to work in school jobs.  Juan asked Gingrich:

“Speaker Gingrich, you recently said black Americans should demand jobs, not food stamps.  You also said that poor kids lack a strong work ethic and proposed having them work as janitors in their schools.  Can’t you see that this is viewed at a minimum as insulting to all Americans, but particularly to black Americans?”

Indeed, only elites and civil rights panderers are the only ones with issues with Speaker Gingrich’s spot on answer to Juan’s question.  It didn’t take long before the purveyors of race baiting made their outrage known.  Armed with the obvious and foul racial smears, they emerge from the woodwork.

Jesse Jackson, a known deadbeat father, overt racist, and second banana to Al Sharpton as the Justice Brothers said this about Newt Gingrich:

Food stamps is their lifeline for many Americans – they help farmers, they help the grocery industry, and mostly, they help people who are malnourished,” Jackson told POLITICO in reaction to Monday night’s GOP debate. “So for him to disparage the food stamps is to not understand the 50 million in the country living in poverty. He is showing disdain for the poor.”

Jackson, who sires babies out of wedlock, continues promoting the thug life as a skirt chasing crack head.  This is Jackson’s America, keeping his peeps in perpetual poverty, and promoting Deadbeat Dads!

In official documents filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court and obtained by The ENQUIRER, Karin Stanford claims the 70-year-old famed civil rights leader owes $11,694.50 for their daughter Ashley, now 12.

But the selective outrage isn’t just for Jackson to own, no!  Jimmy Carter, the second worse president evah, explains he knows this kind of racism, and who else but Jimmy would know.  He is a Marxist Democrat, and a Southern Marxist Democrat to boot!  Getting people off of food stamps and welfare isn’t in Carter’s interest.  All those charitable organizations Carter runs are to bolsterer his ego and sooth his white guilt, or lust in his heart.

Carter would rather give a fish, rather than teach someone how to fish.  That’s the point behind Gingrich’s answer to Juan Williams.  It makes perfect sense!  Teaching a good work ethic and learning how to be independent, industrious and prosperous!  How is that demeaning?  How is that racist?

Racism is in the eyes of the beholder and liberal idiots like Jackson and Carter are the poster child’s of racism.  Between these two pillars of moral standing, poverty and unemployment would reign rampant.

Then there is the obtuse brilliance of Reprehensive James E. Clyburn.  What can be said about a true useful idiot?  Listen to this racist moron for yourself!

What he is talking about stratifying people. He is saying that the poor children in their schools ought to be the janitors in their schools. So that other people in the schools who are not so poor can see them as their servants. That is what we get from what he is saying. And to talk about what his daughter may have done. His daughter was never a janitor in the school she attended. That to me is a double standard. I understand what he is saying and most African Americans understand what he is saying. And we are not going to stand for it.”

This is the typical rhetoric that these plantation owners push.  Anyone trying to better their lives is immediately looked upon as “servants”!   Hey Clyburn, you are a PUBLIC SERVANT!  Your job is to represent your constituents, not to suck up to Nazi Pelosi.

Keeping people in perpetual poverty is the Marxist way.  Nazi Piglosi incoherent reasoning on unemployment insurance and how it generates economic prosperity makes me wonder if members of congress need to take a drug and alcohol test.

Boob Tube

This will be the Obama Regime’s campaign message.  Pulling the Race Card, even if the card is well beyond its spending limits.   When did earning a living in this country become divisive?

That card no longer seems to be the trump card, it has been worn out in it’s over use. About time!

    • Kini Says:

That is so true! I expect we will see the Race Card pulled throughout this election cycle.

      • Sedate Me Says:

Herman Cain was a master at it. He was so good, most people (especially Republicans) didn’t even notice he was doing it.

        999 out of 10 Herman!

    Racism?

On Cooper’s Tuesday program, Democratic strategist and Obama 2012 campaign pollster Cornell Belcher took aim at former House Speaker Newt Gingrich’s response to a question from Fox News Channel’s Juan Williams during a Monday GOP presidential debate, saying it was “it was dog-whistle politics at its worst.

That drew a response from Cooper’s other guest, former White House press secretary Ari Fleischer, who noted that Belcher has made these charges before.

BELCHER: Well, you know, I agree with my friend, Ari. I wish I had the confidence. By the way, I never called Herman Cain a racist. I said –
    FLEISCHER: You sure did.
BELCHER: His language was bigoted. No, I said his language was bigoted. I never called him actually a racist. I understand the difference. Because I understand. I never called him racist; I did say it was bigoted, because I do understand the difference between racism and bigotry.

A few (probably unappreciated) thoughts here:

    1) Every single time I’ve ever seen Nancy Pellosi, she looks terrified to the point of tears, or even bowel release. She must have come from one seriously abusive family.

    2) Jimmy Carter – A Democrat from Georgia who grew up when Jimmy did is an automatic expert on racism.

    3) You can’t help but ask a “racially biased question” about a racially biased proposition. Good idea, bad idea, racist idea, it doesn’t matter. Whether Newt intended to or not, damn near everyone listening heard some variation of the following “Black people are poor and lazy. I’ll change that by putting their kids to work as janitors.”

Black people are disproportionately poor, disproportionately live in poor neighbourhoods, and disproportionately have no father/breadwinner. You start talking about urban poverty and race invariably comes into it. Especially so when you start talking about forcing them to work as unpaid domestic servants. It brings up a touchy subject from the past.

Honestly, this is probably a well-intentioned bad idea Net came up with one afternoon. Who the hell wants any young person cleaning up a public building? Most of them can’t even see the floor in their own rooms, never mind keep them clean. This plan would only succeed in making ghetto schools look even more “ghetto” while un-employing janitors who may very well be supporting families in these neighbourhoods. .

I don’t think Newt is much of a racist, I think is he equally nasty to everyone who isn’t him. It’s probably the thing I admire most about him.

Aloha Sedate Me, and thanks for your comment.

      A correction in your comment:

Especially so when you start talking about forcing them to work as unpaid domestic servants.

Gingrich did not say anything about forcing anyone to work as unpaid servants. Watch the video, Gingrich clearly states they would be working for money.

The reason is clear why Blacks are poorer. As Frances Rice wrote in a Human Events article:

Democrats have been running our inner-cities for the past 30 to 40 years, and blacks are still complaining about the same problems. More than $7 trillion dollars have been spent on poverty programs since Lyndon Johnson’s War on Poverty with little, if any, impact on poverty. Diabolically, every election cycle, Democrats blame Republicans for the deplorable conditions in the inner-cities, then incite blacks to cast a protest vote against Republicans.

You can read the whole article here
The purpose of my article was to point out the hypocrisy Marxist Democrats spew. Democrats are responsible for why Blacks are disproportionately poor.

      • Sedate Me Says:

My machine has no audio capabilities at present, but I heard Newt mention the idea in interviews. Don’t get me wrong, I fully expect Newt would have them be paid, but I’ve yet to actually hear that. Nor have I heard it would be voluntary. Most people likely haven’t either. Those missed details seals the deal on the mental image most people would immediately conjure up; poor black kids doing the kind of forced labour their (luckier) slave ancestors once did and the kind of “degrading” Jim Crow jobs they were trapped in long afterwards. Anyone with the slightest sense of history can’t be blamed for drawing this conclusion, even if totally false. Bad memories have serious impacts on behaviour.

For the record, I think this specific proposal is stupid, if not illegal, but I see merit in the overall approach of giving kids some hands-on experience before launching them into this hostile job environment to fend for themselves.

With regards to blacks, as a group, being poor…I doubt anyone who thinks Democrats other than Bernie Saunders are Marxists could possibly appreciate this lengthy rant, but I’m going to give it a shot anyway. (This waste of time is a lot more fun than wasting my time doing my job.)

Blacks are not poor because of 4 decades of Democratic policies. Even assuming the accusation these policies have hurt blacks IS true (they’re neutral at worst), the single biggest reason they’re poor is as a result of centuries of one British-then-American policy…slavery. But don’t play the “He’s Playing The Race Card” card just yet. I’m not just talking about the lingering post-slavery racism that created a mountain of animosity in both directions. Or even the more concrete fact that few blacks were allowed to have decent jobs, educations, or desegregated housing, until the “Marxist Democratic” policies of the 60′s. Although, that alone is arguably reason enough to explain them being poor as a group.

I’m talking about how slavery combined with capitalism. The capitalist system works to the benefit of those who have, shockingly enough, more capital. While “socialist” policies can take the edge off it, poor children (even many with better work ethics & higher intelligence than average) generally achieve poorer outcomes than children born to families with more money. Wealthier families have the capital to access better education which leads to better jobs. They also get better loan financing, investment opportunities, health care, transportation, housing conditions, food and other things that add up to a better chance of economic success. And those advantages are passed on to the next generation, as are the disadvantages.

In short, the capitalist system carries with it a tremendous amount of inter-generational inertia. Now toss into the mix a large population of uneducated folks trained not to think for themselves because it made the “property” more passive. They walked out of slavery with nothing but ill-will in both directions. Hell, some didn’t even leave their slave quarters after being freed because they had nowhere else to go. The lack of options, not walls or guards, is what kept most from running in the first place.

But forget the racism. How can a race almost completely devoid of capital and even the experience of capitalism (beyond being “human capital”) succeed in an established, competitive, capitalist nation in a little over a century, even without the racist barriers blacks had? The bottom line is that, without long-term massive interference, real capital just doesn’t accumulate that fast on such a scale, particularly in the kind of tighter fiscal/credit environment that existed until the 60′s. Add to that the fact that, historically, most entrepreneurs had their start in their own neighbourhoods. Being stuck in a ghetto limits your profit potential. Starting with such a handicap, blacks would have to have been considerably smarter and more hard working than whites to have caught up in such a short time. Just being equal isn’t enough to achieve financial equality.

But the good news is that one need only to look at the inner city drug trade to understand that blacks have become fairly capable of understanding what it takes to succeed in a capitalist system. These are extremely profitable business, not just because they attract repeat customers, but because they sell a product that attracts a much wider, more affluent, demographic than exists in their local market. Unfortunately, the owners still have yet to get the hang of that pesky “wise money management” thing. Mind you, that trait now describes at least 95% of Americans as the culture has convinced them to be as irresponsible as human possible. So maybe the playing field has finally become a fair one. There is reason to see success in their future. Ironically enough, they will succeed in getting their piece of the American pie (to steal a “Jeffersonian” line ;) ) just as it begins its unstoppable downward slide.

Speaking of which, that “$7 trillion dollars spent on poverty programs” over the last 4 decades sure looks like chicken feed next to the money spent on bailing out the “brightest minds” capitalism has to offer, the “hard working” wizards on Wall Street who “deserve” every penny of their vast fortunes. They not only received about a trillion in welfare programs (TARP) designed to keep them obscenely rich while demanding nothing in return, they got additional interest-free loans from The Fed totalling $7.7 trillion in less than ONE YEAR. (It’s believed they’ve received a larger sum since 2008.) And yet many of these hard working capitalist “geniuses” still managed to go belly up, or remain on the verge of it. Divide this anti-poverty pro-wealth money on a per-person-per-day basis. Suddenly, the money spent on anti-poverty programs looks insignificant (and perhaps a whopping success) in comparison.

As I said, capitalism naturally rewards those in control of capital, even those who have nothing to merit it, and handicaps those without it. The “Marxist Democrat hypocrisy” you speak of that’s designed to attract black voters, even if it exists (It does to a certain extent), is really insignificant in the big picture. There is much bigger (more expensive & more corrupting) hypocrisy involved in keeping afloat the laughable pretense that America is anything remotely resembling a meritocracy (not that one has ever existed)…or, for that matter, even the faulty premise that it is a real democracy. Just look at the money that goes into purchasing elections alone, never mind rigging the system in between.

  4. Kini Says:

    Sedate me,
It’s been a long time since I’ve heard a computer described as a machine let alone one without a sound card.

The suggestion of allowing school children to work in schools for money is not a new idea; it was actually something that is done in some schools around the country. However, the public unions make sure those opportunities are quickly taken away. You are correct that most people either miss those details, or ignore them all together. The mental image of past racism is just that, the past. In today’s world, those societal flaws are no longer tolerated, and if and when, they do happen, there is a media backlash that comes down like a ton of bricks. Being wary of the past always guides the future. So this nonsense of Jim Crow laws and forced labor (labour? Are you British or Canadian?) is just stretching the imagination in today’s world. It just doesn’t happen anymore.

Children working is not stupid, nor is it illegal. There are school children that work on family farms as young as 12. I was a bag boy in a grocery store working for tips at 13. Child labor laws prevent the abuses that occurred in the 1800’s and early 1900’s when fair labor laws came in effect. Ask yourself why trade program courses are no longer taught in schools. Wood shop, metal shop, home economics and typing are no longer being taught. Even the concept of balancing a checkbook isn’t taught.

You call the job environment hostile, where people are left to fend for themselves; are you daft? In the United States, you are free to work where ever you want to. Employers and employees are “At Will” parties. Unless you work for a union which is the closest thing to communist organization that confiscates a portion of your wages as “Union Dues” and does not give you a voice on how that money is used. I am a perfect example of the success of Capitalism. I am a successful small business owner. None one gave me anything. I worked for everything I own. Like with everything in life, I’ve had my failures, but they are outweighed by my successes. They were learning steps to prosperity. I know what it’s like to live in poverty and homeless. I was provided with the same opportunities as everyone else gets. I worked hard and became successful. I also help others that “want” to be successful. Everyone has the choice to do something about their situation.

You broad-brushed blacks, as a group, as being poor which is totally and patently false. There are plenty of whites, Hispanics and other minorities that are poor. BTW; Bernie Sanders openly admits he is a socialist; other democrats hide their socialist leanings by declaring themselves as “Progressives”.

These “Progressive” policies are the root cause why intercity blacks have been discriminated against for decades. Take a look at Detroit, Philadelphia, Chicago and Los Angeles; all democrat, all progressives, all crumbling infrastructure, the family unit is crumbling, poverty is rampant and crime is widespread. The common factor is Marxist Democrat policies that for decades have destroyed these cities. Businesses moved away because they were over taxed, the federal government dumped millions of dollars in, and nothing has ever fixed the problem. That is not happening in States with Republicans in office. Indiana, Texas, Arizona and Louisiana are examples where Republican policies are creating jobs and opportunities for everyone that wants it. You have to want success. Success is not handed to you as “Progressive” policies would have to believe, quite the contrary, it has done the opposite.
Progressives blame their failures on Republicans. The Democrat National Chairperson, Debbie Wasserman Schultz have been spreading these lies to the fawning media that gleefully propagates this propaganda. Progressives are the cause of the “Post-Slavery Racism” that you speak of. Don’t you hear that when Obama cries Class Warfare? Don’t you hear them claiming the “Rich” are unfairly stealing the money from the poor? Why do you think there is this OWS movement that makes the argument of the “Rich” is stealing all the money? I won’t play the Race Card with you, but I will pull the ignorance card on you. BTW; Slavery was not just a British-then-American policy. Slavery has been going on for centuries, and even today in Communist countries like North Korea, China, Cuba and Venezuela. In Islamic countries, slavery is commonplace. It was Republicans that abolished slavery in this country in a bloody Civil War.

I will remind you that it was Democrats that imposed Jim Crow laws, imposed segregation, imposed separation and now impose socialism. When democrats couldn’t by force keep their racist policies because of civil rights laws that crafted by both Conservative Democrat and Republicans (conservative democrats no longer exist in this country, they’ve been replaced by Socialists), they found the socialist policies of welfare as the way to impose discrimination on minorities. Granted that Civil Rights laws were passed under a Democrat president, but only after a Republican majority with massive public sentiment forced that to happen.

I suggest you lookup WallBuilders and see the untold history of how blacks were treated in this country. History that has been conveniently been erased by the Teachers Unions and the policies of Progressive politicians.

Slavery and Capitalism are incompatible. Period! To equate the two together proves you lack the facilities to know the difference. Bill Gates started MicroSoft from his garage. Hewlett-Packard started in a one-car garage in Palo Alto by Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard. Neither had any wealth to build today the multi-national companies they are today without capitalism. Apple and a host of other companies started without any wealth to start with. Only hard work and capitalism made them successful. Everyone has the same advantages. Everyone has the same opportunities. People like Herman Cain, the former presidential candidate, made his fortune on his own. Who was it that sabotaged his Presidential aspirations? Marxist Democrats! They used the media smear machine to trot out baseless liars to destroy a good man. That is how Marxist Democrats work. They cannot compete in the field of ideas, so they manufacture lies to destroy people. That is a solid fact that is well documented, and is probably where you are getting your misinformation. Do you fact check your information? I think not.

We are no longer living in the 60’s. You need to get beyond that and start living in the here and now. Oh, and that drug trade that you so admire, is not capitalism. It is slavery, it is criminal, and it is repugnant! Your RACIST comment reveals the nature of your soul. You speak like a true Marxist Democrat. Bravo!

At least Wall Street earns their money legally. Even though Marxist Democrats hate profit, hate success and they are envious of anyone that is successful. Like you, they see someone taking from others. Like you, they see profits as evil. Like you, they don’t mind when they are making loads of money, but damn anyone else that does. Their answer is to, regulate them, tax them, and make them give their wealth away to those that never earned it. Marxist Democrats call this “Fairness”, they like Obama think that when you spread the wealth around it’s good for everyone. They think at some point that you’ve made enough money. Social programs have rarely worked. You cannot expect anyone to be successful if you give stuff away to them. Give a man a fish and he will starve; teach a man to fish and he will prosper.

In this country, no one is in control of capitalism. But everyone has the opportunity by the freedoms we have to exploit capitalism to its fullest. But obviously you are not an American, because you talk like someone who is looking in from the outside. Granted that the Marxist that is currently occupying the office of the Presidency of the United States is dragged this country towards a European Socialist model, his days are numbered. In November you’ll see real change back to the founding principles which this country was created.
You don’t understand how American elections are conducted and financed, and I’m not surprised. As with your dim view of history, you see us through a kaleidoscope of socialist indoctrination. It is the unfortunate problem within a free society, you will always have the “Have’s” and the “Have Not’s”, and you will always have the liberal utopians and the conservative capitalists.

At least our elections are peaceful transitions. Regardless of how much money is thrown at either canidate, no one can buy everyone’s vote. This is not the first time in America’s history where big money has been involved in elections and it won’ t be the last. It is who we are. As with this mistake of overt socialism that currently resides in office, that too shall pass.
