When you know you are losing the argument, the acceptable thing to do is either, accept that you are loosing and “agree to disagree” or accept the reason of the discussion, and then move on. That’s what rational people would do right?
Not if you are a Professor at Columbia University.
NO! You punch that person in the face.
If that person is a White Woman, then it’s a case of privileged.
Meet Professor Lionel McIntyre
He likes to Beat Women
A prominent Columbia architecture professor punched a female university employee in the face at a Harlem bar during a heated argument about race relations, cops said yesterday.
Police busted Lionel McIntyre, 59, for assault yesterday after his bruised victim, Camille Davis, filed charges.
McIntyre and Davis, who works as a production manager in the school’s theater department, are both regulars at Toast, a popular university bar on Broadway and 125th Street, sources said.
The professor, who is black, had been engaged in a fiery discussion about “white privilege” with Davis, who is white, and another male regular, who is also white, Friday night at 10:30 when fists started flying, patrons said.
Considering that the esteemed Professor punched out a White Woman, that wouldn’t be considered racist, yes? Maybe the good professor was just disturbed like that moslum terrorist at Fort Hood? Maybe the pressures of academia are just too much to bear for one lowly professor who’s jealous of white privilege? But what is White Privilege anyway? Just a way to blame your own problems on someone else. Hitler blamed the Jews for Germany’s problems. Blaming white people for your problems is deserving of a sucker punch to the face.
“The punch was so loud, the kitchen workers in the back heard it over all the noise,” bar back Richie Velez, 28, told The Post. “I was on my way over when he punched Camille and she fell on top of me.”
It is offensive that the prominent violent professor with obvious radical racial views towards white people make claims about White Privilege, as being exclusive to Black People. At least I have to assume that was the argument. Nether the less, assaulting a person, whatever the argument, especially against a woman, is a cowardly act indeed. In a bar no less. This guy is a total douche bag. He deserved to be removed from the University.
Apparently, no one is considering the radical racist views of Professor Lionel McIntyre. If you do not agree with the arguments, then you get a punch in the face. I don’t think he would have cared if his victim was a female of male, only that his argument was weak. The professors solution, assault the person.
Is this the kind of curriculum one can expect in a New York University, on or off campus? They could threaten to hurt others just like Black Panthers intimated voters during the 2008 election. Or Worse, they could imply racism.
