I can’t support Duke Aiona. Unless he has recently changed his tune, he supports the Akaka Bill. He and RINO Lingle were at demonstrations wearing the Red Shirt of racial nationalism and seperatism. They have no principles, just typical political whores fishing for votes.

At a Hawaii County Republican Party meeting several years ago, Aiona told me to shut up when I brought up the Akaka Bill. He said the issue had “already been decided.” That makes him an elitist POS in my book.

I agree. The lesser of two evils I suppose. However, no one else is stepping up to the governor plate. When it comes down to voting for either of the two candidates for Hawai’i’s Governorship, I cannot vote for Abercrombie.

Aiona does support the Akaka bill, and I do believe the Akaka bill would hurt native Hawaiians, rather than help them.

If either Sam Slom, or Lynn Finnegan were running for governor, then that would be a different story.
