Fox News Bias: Real or Imagined?

A very dear friend of ours claimed that we watch Fox News too much and we’re being fed lies, propaganda and false information.  I was taken aback by that comment so I looked up some information about Fox News Liberals :

Talk to any Fox News-hating liberal and you’ll here the same old regurgitated talking point- “Fox is not Fair & Balanced,” “Rightwing propaganda.” One network, Fox News, has twice the number of opposing commentators than does all media sources combined. If you add up the major media properties; ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN, PBS, New York Times, Washington Post, and Newsweek — you get a total of five so-called conservative personalities among hundreds of liberals. At the least, Fox News employs the following liberals;

Juan Williams
Alan Colmes
Kirsten Powers
Shepard Smith
Geraldo Rivera
Mara Liasson
Bill Schulz
Susan Estrich
Bob Beckel
Santita Jackson
Simon Rosenberg

A 2009 national survey showed that 46% of those who watch FOX News “just about every day” are Democrats or Independents. Dick Morris interpreted the numbers and determines, “Could it be that the Obama Administration is concerned about FOX News not because it is ‘an arm of the Republican Party’ but because it is so widely seen among Democrats and Independents?”

We also get the cable news channels CNN and MSNBC, but watching those channels is like watching a hate factory of one sided information, there is no counter balance of opinion or news.  Same as the public news channels, ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS; they are all single minded and extremely biased.  We do watch them also so we can get perspectives outside of the Fox umbrella.

We find it unfair that liberals use talking points to prejudice and influence others by calling Fox News a Hate Speech channel; that is simply not true.  One only needs to watch MSNBC to see real hate speech:

Ed Schultz
Martin Bashir
Chris Hayes
Chris Matthews
Rachel Maddow
Lawrence O’Donnell
Andrea Mitchell
Al Sharpton
Alex Wagner
Touré Neblett

This is what passes for journalism at MSNBC.  One only has to watch any one of these pretend-to-be-journalist to see the bias and vile hate speech.  Then there is the subject of journalism, MSNBC has been caught numerous time either falsifying or changing facts to fit a liberal narrative.  Rarely do they ever admit their deliberate spinning of the news.  One thing is common with MSNBC is their anchors and commentators are visibly angry on camera.  It is disturbing to watch.

Then there is CNN and like MSNBC, they are virtually a carbon copy of each other.  Their sister channel Headline News struggles for viewership.  When Glenn Beck was on HLN their ratings picked up until they fired Glenn Beck.  Glenn Beck enjoys a wildly popular cable news channel called The Blaze and is highly recommended viewing.  But I digress:

Anderson Cooper Soledad O’Brien
Erin Bernett
Piers Morgan
Suzanne Malveaux
Wolf Blitzer
Joy Bahar
Nancy Grace

These pretend to be journalist are nothing more than self gratifying than objective reporters.  Usually armed with erroneous information and arrogant interviewing attitudes; these people wonder today why their ratings are in the toilet.

Speaking of ratings, Fox News has been number one for over 11 years and consistently holds a 3 to 1 ratio of viewership over all the other Cable News networks.  The answer for this ratings disparity is in the programming: Fox News is Fair and Balanced!  Are they perfect, nope!  There is no such thing as perfection, it cannot be defined under any standard; however, Fox News does followup on any news items erroneously reported.  It is rare that the other channels report mistakes.  At least Fox News is consistently objective and unbiased.

Political bias within the cable news channels is clearly and unabashedly prevalent; whereas Fox News consistently gets accused of being the right arm of the Republican party.  Equally so, the other cable network news channels which are boldly in the Democrat camp.  Even openly admitting a socialist bias for democrats.  That was clearly seen over the last three election cycles; 2008, 2010 and 2012.

The Obama regime has been openly critical of Fox News, even going to War with Fox News:

Mr. Obama was asked by Rolling Stone whether Fox News is “a good institution for America and for democracy.” He began his answer with a look back at history noting that “we’ve got a tradition in this country of a press that oftentimes is opinionated,” invoking William Randolph Hearst’s use of his newspapers to promote his viewpoints.

“I think Fox is part of that tradition — it is part of the tradition that has a very clear, undeniable point of view. It’s a point of view that I disagree with,” Mr. Obama said. “It’s a point of view that I think is ultimately destructive for the long-term growth of a country that has a vibrant middle class and is competitive in the world.”

It proves that Fox News reports accurately about the corruption of the Obama regime, while the other cable news channels deliberately obfuscates, hides and lies for the Obama Regime!  Obama and the other cable news channels may think they are fooling the American public with their propaganda, but the numbers don’t lie.  Which is the reason why Fox News is the #1 cable news network.

So when I hear someone tell me that I watch too much Fox News, I say YES!  Unashamed and unafraid!

I so agree! The armpit would love to shut down all discussion that disagrees with his majesties POV. But, hopefully like a bad smell, he too shall pass. We can only hope and pray.
