Whatever happened to I have the Right to Refuse Service? No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service!
Suppose someone came into your place of business and asked you to perform a service that violated your conscience. You refuse to perform that service and the customer sues you and your business for discrimination. This is becoming more frequent these days. It is called reverse discrimination. Watch the Dog Painter video.
Indiana’s governor Mike Pence has become the latest causality in what is a war against religious freedom by intolerant leftist groups. They frequently use the courts as a weapon to claim discrimination, when there is no discrimination present.
“Love the sinner, hate the sin.” Leftist say, but now you must participate in the sin, or get sued, lose your business, or go to jail. That’s a loss of your Constitutional Rights!
It all goes back some decades ago when leftist politicians started packing the courts with leftist judges that are hell bound to destroy your God-given rights. In particular, your First Amendment Right.
The Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) was written to protect people of conscience from being discriminated against by bigots that hate religion. The attacks range from removing “In God We Trust” off of United States currency, to forcing small business owners to participate in acts that violate their religious principles.
Leftist have become the new look of intolerance and discrimination. The usual hucksters of intolerance get themselves in front of a TV camera to make wild claims of discrimination, when there is none. Al Sharpton is the poster child of racial discrimination and bigotry, and NBC has given this racist his own show to spread his hatred.
Dan Savage, a disgusting x-rated gay activist, that routinely bashes Christians is getting a ABC/Disney television show. Isn’t that special!
A perusal of Dan Savage’s work reveals a career built on advocating violence — even murder — and spewing hatred against people of faith. Savage has spared no one with whom he disagrees from his vitriolic hate speech. Despite his extremism, vulgarity, and unabashed encouragement of dangerous sexual practices, Disney ABC is moving forward with this show, disgustingly titled “Family of the Year.”
This is the objective by extremist gay activists, to force their lifestyle into American homes, expose children to this lifestyle and destroy Christian religious family values. If you wonder why more Christian families are opting to home school, then it is because of this activity Christians find religiously immoral.
CNN’s host Sally Kohn tweeted out a PSA for her followers: “You Guys, I’m bowling for abortion access! Donate Now!” Kohn is joining the National Abortion Access Bowl-A-Thon in an effort to raise money for abortions. The event is a nationwide series from the National Network of Abortion Funds that allows community members to raise money to help pay for abortions with their friendly neighborhood abortion funds. (Their Words) Talk about worshiping the gods of death. I find Kohn more of a mental sickness, than a religious argument. Celebrating the murder of innocents is a mental disorder.
Apple’s Tim Cook spoke about discrimination but fails to acknowledge discrimination against what Mozilla did to Brendan Eich to remove him from the company as CEO. Cook is a hypocrite for not recognizing people’s religious rights. For these extremist groups, the road of discrimination is a one way street. They can discriminate against you and your beliefs, but you cannot protect yourself against their discrimination.
RFRA was signed into law in 1993 by then President Bill Clinton. There were no cries of discrimination then. RFRA simply allows religious liberties to be raised as a defense in lawsuits brought by bigots wanted to force their lifestyle upon others. A religious liberty may be offered as a defense against a lawsuit, but is not a guarantee that this defense will be accepted in a court of law. Not when activist judges routinely rule in favor of bigots wanting to make an example out of innocent people practicing their religious beliefs. That is pure discrimination by the courts.
Gay-rights activism is, just at the moment, very much oriented toward preventing the emergence of any social compromise on the matter of homosexual marriage, which is why tradition-minded florists and bakers, generally conservative Christians, are being targeted for prosecution as enemies of civil rights. In terms of government interest, homosexual couples planning wedding receptions in Connecticut are a good deal less compelling than were black Americans who were effectively circumscribed from public life — political, social, and economic — under the machinery of oppression constructed by Democrats after the Civil War. Among other things, the market provides same-sex couples plenty of other options. But gay-rights activists insist that the situations are morally and politically identical. That this view is rightly received with some skepticism by the general public — including much of the public inclined to support gay marriage and similar issues — is why the increasingly fanatical homosexual activists reject the notion that religious liberty might even be raised as an issue in the case of a wedding planner who does not wish to be involved in the blessing of a homosexual union. Their goal is a coercive coast-to-coast regime with no room for social compromise at all.
So why don’t the gay-rights activists just move on to another bakery, photographer, or florist? Why create more tension against those that don’t share in the gay lifestyle by attacking them in court?
What I find equally interesting is how real discrimination against gays in Muslim countries are ignored by the gay community. Muslim savages don’t discriminate between Christian and Gays, they kill them both with equal hatred. Yet, you never hear any discussion about these atrocities in the name of Allah.
Muslim activists in America have been using the same discrimination playbook to spread their hatred. This creeping social intolerance is just an strategy to silence those that don’t share their lifestyle. Muslims want to impose Sharia laws in America, one law for them, and another law for you. How is this any different from the tactics the Gay mafia uses to discriminate against Christians?
Isn’t ironic that these activist groups surround themselves with righteous death, and reject a life of freedom. They all have one goal in common that that is to destroy the God given freedoms and the laws of freedom in the Constitution. They want to rewrite the Bill of Rights to only give selective rights to those that agree with their lifestyle.
Leftist use the same false argument; if gays walk into a business, they will be denied service. FALSE! That’s NOT the case at all! It is being forced to participate in an activity, that’s the objection. The baker didn’t refuse to sell cakes. The florist didn’t refuse to sell flowers. The photographer didn’t refuse to take pictures. They all refused to participate in the activity. I wouldn’t want to be forced to watch either a play with a bunch of burly guys swapping spit on stage, or a play about women discussing their vagina’s. That’s not a religious objection, that’s personal decision. If you want to watch that garbage, then have at it. I’ll move on and do something else, and the activists should have found another bakery, florist, and photographer. Use some common sense and get along.
Now lets get this clear. The government has no business forcing people to participate in a activity that goes against their religious beliefs. You can neither force a Jewish delicatessen to sell ham, and nor can you force Christians to participate in activities against their religious beliefs. Damaging people’s lives with lawsuits, destroying businesses, jobs, and livelihoods; all because you disagree with their conscience objection not to engage in an objectionable activity is discrimination. Be it religious, or not!
