Mele Kalikimaka 2018

Merry Christmas

Mele Kalikimaka ia kakou, a Hau’oli Makahiki Hou! It’s Christmas time once again. Its my favorite time of the year. It’s been a good year, despite the challenges our great country has faced. My Christmas is giving all year round. Words cannot express my gratitude and blessings to be living in the greatest country in the world, and the Aloha State. There’s so much to talk about.

As mentioned, Christmas is a time of joy, and that is year around. Where I live on the southeast side of the Big Island of Hawai’i, it is very unique. Like all of the Hawaiian islands, they all have their own personalities. This location, on this planet, matches my happiness. I am sure there are places around the world where people have a kinship that bonds them to their location. You’re lucky enough to find one best friend in life, let alone a place on earth which bonds you to the land and culture.

So with that in mind, I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
