Our Hawai’i legislators apparently have too much time on their hands. Instead of conducting the business of the State, they are issuing proclamations and condemnations. Meanwhile, the State’s budget is being held in limbo because of our diversity, or something.
Honolulu City Council issued a condemnation demanding Rush Limbaugh apologize for making fun of China’s President Hu Jintao. Interesting they didn’t ask the same thing from Saturday Night Live.
As Hawai’i Free Press reports, Limbaugh counters by asking a question of Honolulu City Council:
Radio raconteur Rush Limbaugh has a question for Hawaii. Did the Honolulu City Council ever did issue a condemnation of Mao Zedong for the genocide of Chinese people?
Not that we are aware of, but we do know that the Hawaii State Legislature did pass a 1976 resolution honoring card-carrying Communist Party member Koji Ariyoshi, who in 1943-45 worked directly with Mao Zedong and Chao En Lai in Yenan, China as part of the US Army Intelligence WW2 “Dixie Mission.” The Legislature specifically honored Ariyoshi for his WW2 work in China and for his later work as “president of the US-China People’s Friendship Association of Hawaii.”
I’ll add the SNL video, but YouTube in its political correctness will probably take it down, so enjoy it while it last. Getting offended by Rush, very important. Doing the people’s business, not so much.
Politicians, especially our Hawai’i liberal democrats, will always find time to waste on social justice lost causes. The bleeding heart mental disorder culminated with the passage of the Civil Unions bill. Now you can marry your toaster!
Here’s State Senator Clayton Hee planting a wet one on Gov. Neil “Krusty the Clown” Abercrombie, while Lt. Gov. Brian Snotz’s (Schatz) struggles to hold his water, giggling like a little girly-man.
After the ceremony, Abercrombie proclaimed Hawai’i’s diversity by inviting Sex Tourism and Illegal Aliens to Hawai’i. Just what we need in Hawai’i, add to fill the welfare roles, and hand out more government cheese.
From Hawai’i Reporter:
“E Komo Mai: It means all are welcome,” Abercrombie said in remarks before signing the bill into law. “This signing today of this measure says to all of the world that they are welcome. That everyone is a brother or sister here in paradise.”
“The legalization of civil unions in Hawaii represents in my mind equal rights for all people,” he said. Companies plan push for gay sex tourism
TOTALLY RELATED: The transsexual agenda for Hawaii schools (Mr Kim Coco Iwamoto won approval of a law forcing Hotels to admit men wearing dresses.)
After watching the signing ceremony Shaun Campbell said the new law may help his partner become a United States citizen.
“The civil union bill here in Hawaii possibly contains some loop holes whereby undocumented people could in fact enter into a civil union here in Hawaii. I’m looking at that option for me and my partner possibly,” Campbell said.
I wonder if normal hetero families and children are welcome? Knowing what you know now, would you even want to vacation in Hawai’i? How about child molesters? Believe it or not, they are welcome. Read this link.
Needless to say, but traditional local people are unhappy with this Civil Union decision. However, if we are ever to change things in Hawai’i, local people need to get out and vote. The last election only brought out a total turnout of 55.8%. We’ve got to do better than that. No Vote, No Grumble!
As Neil “Krusty the Clown” Abercrombie proclaims diversity, equality and everyone is a brother and sister; sadly the same is not true for the unborn.
Despite our strong opposition, Hawaii Senate Bill 218 relating to emergency contraception PASSED out of the Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday. We were also disappointed to learn that when the senate judiciary committee approved the bill with a vote of 3 to 2, they also rejected our request for a “healthcare right of conscience” exception.
With so many people rushing to China, and Russia, to adopt babies, we in this country would destroy our future. I can count on both hands the people I know that couldn’t have children, and went overseas to adopt. The argument always boils down to the Sanger logic; future welfare recipient, right to chose, all the same lame arguments. Meanwhile, all is not welcome in Hawai’i.
And those children, they’ll get toy guns and we can’t allow that, so the State legislators, with too much time on their hands, tried to pass a law to ban toy guns. Your tax dollars at work.
What’s For Dinner?
