Faith In The System

Early this morning while enjoying my tea on the lanai, I saw this rainbow appear in the westward direction towards Mauna Kea. It immediately reminded me of the biblical verse from the Book of Genesis. Before I raised the Stars and Stripes, I reset my American flag back from distress to faith in the system. That’s taking a leap of faith these days given what has transpired over the last decade in this nation.

I will dedicate the Month of June (and all year round) be forever “Veterans Appreciation Month.” A Month-long devotion to Patriotism leading up to our nation’s birthday in July. When we celebrate those who founded this nation and all those who defended our nation from enemies and evil. Our nation is in crisis right now and we need all patriot warriors to come to the rescue.

Meanwhile, I am preparing to watch the continuation of “The Chosen,” Season 4, Episode 1. The link will disappear after this posting. The broadcast will have a story and commentary. I’m looking forward to these afternoons show. The company is already filming season five with at least three more seasons left.

I’m hoping the clouds will part enough to see the International Space Station (ISS) flyover tonight. Details: Time 7:41 PM, Visible: 5 min, Max Height: 46°, Appears: 10° above NNW, Disappears: 17° above ESE. This is the second night the ISS will be passing over Hawai’i Island. I missed last night’s passing because of the rain.

I’m sending prayers to Donald J. Trump and his family. The injustice in this Stalinist show trial has damaged the United States Justice system. What’s happening now is extremely frightening. Every American should be concerned about what’s happening in this nation. We’re less than six months away from the elections and a lot can happen between now and then.

I want to have Faith in the System, but I’m troubled by the events that are taking place. I thought it was bad in 1968 when the world was falling apart then, but this is much worse. Because we could lose our Republic forever. It makes me wonder how many people are concerned how close we are to losing it all. Back in 1968, I don’t believe communism had infiltrated into the United States government as it has now. Pray for America. Pray for us all. Pray for President Trump.
