Fiscal Fiasco

Aloha kākou. Inflation by measure is beyond what the Consumer Price Index is telling us. It’s in the double digits and everyone is feeling the pain. As I have said in previous postings, Energy, Food, and Water are the key components in a well managed economy. It makes me wonder why the Fake News Media doesn’t report this in more detail. Instead, they follow the minutia of nonsense to hopefully distract people as we head into the election season.

Others are following what the Supreme Court is ruling. The abortion issue is not a economic issue, but the media will push this to the front burner. It’s perplexing to me that people would burn their calories protesting a ruling that sends the question of abortion back to the States, but here is an example of the insanity of the left.

Protesters Triggered by The Gateway Pundit Reporter, Alicia Powe, at Supreme Court Asking One Simple Question. When the left loses an rational argument they immediately breakout into chants and profanities. The Supreme Court ruling does not prevent abortions, it’s left up to the State. Privacy is neither effected nor individual rights. Unless you consider infanticide a right then you’re more of a ghoul.

Occupier Jim Crow Joe Branden called the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade as “outrageous behavior” at the NATO summit. Somehow tries to connect this to privacy rights which the ruling clearly rejects it is doing. Simply said the Supreme Court said it has no jurisdiction over State’s rights according to the 10 Amendment. Abortion is not a Right, as Murder is not a Right, but a crime.

As I said, abortion is noise level nonsense. What is more important is energy and it’s availability. What the Marxist democrats and far-left loonies call climate change. The Supreme Court ruled that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has over-stepped it’s authority. Once you choke off the energy supply, you accelerate inflation. We’re seeing this happening before our eyes. Hello, Fake News Media???

The is a major win for National Security and energy availability. For years under the Obummer and other past regimes, the EPA has choked off our ability to produce energy, store water, and that effects food production. The EPA should be abolished in my opinion. Like other government departments designed to grow government to make the citizen smaller, our rights are being infringed upon by the heavy hand of government. Of course there should be some regulations for safety, but when the agencies damage the economy, then that is a national security problem.

Gina McCarthy is an insane liar. Green energy is killing jobs by making the cost of business more expensive. It raises the cost of energy and they know it. Windmills and solar panels do not deliver clean reliable energy and it never will. Green Energy defies physics because the wind and sun are not constant. Batteries need energy sources to be charged. Unreliable green energy can not provide reliable energy.

Only nuclear and fossil fuels can supply constant, cheap, reliable energy. When you look at the employment statistics for Green Energy jobs. Those jobs are located in Communist China. Which we are paying for with our tax dollars. We are employing Communists to supply our energy. Which puts us at their mercy should they decide to turn off the energy valve. Then what will we do then? How long will it take before the grid is back on line. It Will Be Months. How long do you think the food supply will last? Everything is tied to energy.

The US economy shrank at a 1.6% annual pace in the first three months of the year, the government reported in a slight downgrade from its previous estimate for January-March quarter. Inflation was at 1.4% 18 months ago, now it’s at 8.6% and rising. I believe it is much higher than reported. As we move into the second half of the year and into earning reporting, I’m expecting further drops in the economy. That’s not just my predictions, that’s what I’m hearing from numerous economists.

We are facing a fiscal fiasco like we’ve never seen before. As in the video, the food we see today was produced a year ago, and what’s being produced now will not fill the shelves. We will see a food shortage and energy shortages going into the next year.  Be warned and be informed, and stock up before it’s all gone.

Damage Control

Aloha kākou. Marxist democrats are in full damage control. Everything is falling apart. From the Supreme Court Rulings to the Unselect January 6th Committee. The latest Supreme court rulings that affirms Second Amendment rights to reversing the January 22, 1973, Roe v. Wade and Dobbs v. Jackson abortion rulings. This has sent the left into a tizzy of unhinged rage. It’s frightening because people that are this crazed will be a danger to themselves and to others.

The amount of human trafficking by the Branden regime should be highlighted as crime against humanity. But its not that important to the Marxist democrats nor the RINO never Trumper repubics. No, to them the January 6th Clown Show is what’s more important.

The only good news for the left has is that leftist Justice Breyer announced his retirement tomorrow, June 30th, 2022. This mean Jumanji Jackson Brown will be sworn in as the new Justice. She’s the Justice that can’t define what a woman is, biologically. She brings a lot of confidence in the Supreme Court, doesn’t she?

Testimony by Cassidy Hutchinson: “President Trump lunged at a Secret Service agent, putting his hand on the man’s throat after he was told he would not be taken to the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. This and other facts were revealed during a surprise Jan. 6 hearing on June 28 which featured testimony by former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson.” The only problem here is that this is double hearsay. Note how Dizzy Lizzy Cheney led the so called witness. They’re trying to establish a criminal narrative by using second hand testimony.

Not only is it physically impossible to for President Trump to reach the steering wheel of the President vehicle known as “The Beast”, but the actual Secret Service Agents were not called to testify. Why? They were in the vehicle with President Trump, not this bimbo. Did she commit perjury? She carefully chose her words to be a vague and secondhand. Did America just get Jussie Smollett’ed? Hutchinson testified, under oath, and recounted what she was told. She didn’t witness anything. This is a show trial.

Former Trump Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations Tony Ornato has poured a generous dose of cold water on her claim that former President Donald Trump wanted to take control of his presidential SUV, according to reports that say he wants to testify that no such thing took place, according to The Guardian.

Fake News CNN’s Jake Tapper pressed Marxist democratic Maryland Rep. Jamie “The Commie” Raskin on about inconsistent reports made by former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson’s allegations about President Donald Trump. Watch Raskin’s tap dance around Tapper’s questions playing word games.

Another claim was that people attending President Trump’s Save America Rally at the D.C. Ellipse were carrying AR-15’s and other weapons. My question is why wasn’t anybody arrested and charged with possession of weapons in Washington D.C.? I have yet to see any arrests of anyone charged with carrying a firearm. It’s illegal to carry a firearm in D.C. unless you’re a law enforcement officer. No one was shot with a firearm expect an unarmed patriot woman, Ashli Babbitt, that was murdered by a Capitol Police officer named Robert Byrd.

Let’s not forget that President Trump offered to have the National Guard available for security and Nazi Piglosi turned it down. Why? Could it be that Nazi Piglosi called the Guard, Trump’s Stormtroopers? Yes, it was and either Piglosi was worried about the optics or that the insurrection was a setup by the Marxist democrats and RINO repubics. I believe the latter was the truth. It was a setup. It was planned months ahead and the crowd was seeded with FBI agents like Ray Epps that egged on people to enter the Capitol Building.

The identity of Ray Epps was known shortly after January 6, but Mr. Epps has never been charged or prosecuted. His picture was on the FBI Wanted list until it was removed. He was recorded on the night of Jan. 5, 2020, telling crowds of Trump supporters, “Tomorrow, we need to go into the Capitol!” The crowd then broke out into chants of “FED! FED! FED!” It’s was clear that Ray Epps was inciting a riot.

Ray was also recorded standing next to known Antifa member John Sullivan who infiltrated the crowd of Trump supporters and was later paid by Fake News CNN for his footage of the events. On Jan. 6, Ray Epps is recorded guiding Trump supporters towards the Capitol before whispering into the ear of the first protestor who pushed past the Capitol police. Why is this sham clown show not considering this evidence You know why. It’s exculpatory evidence that President Trump did not incite a riot.

When inflation is killing the economy, and people are dying trying to enter the country illegally. American’s dying of drug overdoses, and radical Marxists attacking the institutions are ignored. Nazi Piglosi’s Deputy Chief of Staff Drew Hammill disputed the allegation, saying the incident has been “misrepresented.” We All Saw What Nazi Piglosi Did.

In 2019, Nazi Piglosi repeatedly says ‘the children” coming across our southern border and the treatment they are given are the most important part of discussing a border bill. When Bush and Obummer wouldn’t secure the southern border, President Trump did. The Marxist democrats accused President Trump of caging the children. Cages that were built by Obummer, but the Fake News Media ran with the Marxist democrat narrative that President Trump was abusing migrant children. That was a lie.

When the elitists left openly say what they really think out loud, it quickly backfires. Nowhere is the more true than on the ABC daytime program, “The View”, or what I call, “The Yentas.” For the life of me, I cannot see how they draw an audience. These bananas are all racist creeps. I guess it’s a reflection of the the kind of people that flock to see this mindless dribble. None of these people are real. They vote democrat.

Before Donald Trump became President, he promotes the people working in his hotel empire. He Cleans Bathrooms and Works as a Waiter and Bell Hop at his Hotel. Almost like the William Shakespeare’s King Henry V character that walking among his troops on the eve of battle of Agincourt. Except Trump wasn’t in disguise. Instead, Trump set the example and becomes part of the workforce. That’s admirable to me.

As a hotel businessman, Trump ran an empire that employees thousands of people. Show me where Nazi Piglosi has well cared for any of her employees. If Nazi Piglosi treats Mayra Flores children like slave labor, just imagine how she views all Americans. The creature is a shameful mess. Great Leap Backwards

Aloha kākou. During the weekdays while I’m working I’m listening to conservative talk radio on the internet. I stream the radio shows through my smart phone for dumb people, like me. We used to be able to receive conservative talk radio over the local airwaves in the past, but those stations are now long gone. Thank goodness for the interwebs.

One of my favorite shows I listen to in the morning, the 9am to 12pm hours HST, is Dr. Sebastian Gorka’s “America First” radio program. In the final hour of America First program Dr. Gorka did an interview with Mrs. Xi Van Fleet. An immigrant from Communist China, Xi Van Fleet grew up as a child in Mao Zedong’s cultural revolution. Known at that time as the Great Leap Forward from 1958 to 1962 it was an economic and social campaign to reconstruct China from an agrarian economy to the communist society of today. Over 70 Million people died in the purges and turmoil that ensued. It was a disaster then and it still is a disaster today.

Mrs. Xi Van Fleet lives in Louden County Virginia. She became very alarmed by what was happening in the public schools. “You are now teaching, training our children to be social justice warriors and to loathe our country and our history.” Xi explained to the school board members. She likened Critical Race Theory (CRT), which critics deride as a form of “neo-racism,” to China’s Cultural Revolution, a Mao-led purge that left millions of people dead from 1966 to 1976. I remember learning about this in school when schools actually taught lessons. Immigrants from Communist countries all have similar stories of communist oppression.

I’ve never lived in Communist China, but I have briefly visited there. Today, Communist China is a surveillance state. Everyone is being watched. All communications are monitored. If that seems frighteningly similar to what is happening here in the United States, then you’re correct. The Justice department is spying on parents that object to the school curriculum teaching LGBTQ and CRT subjects. The weight of the government is claiming children as their own and not of the parents. This is exactly what Communist China did to their children. This is what’s happening in American schools.

But it’s not just spying on parents, we have political prisoners in jails for just being in Washington D.C. on January 6th, 2020. We have mobs of Black Lives Matter and Antifa Fascists acting as Marxist democrats Stormtrooper proxies that are attacking Federal Court houses, and now Pregnancy Care centers. It’s a campaign of fear and violence that is being encouraged by Marxist democrats in congress.

These are the faces of the “Great Leap Backwards.” Marxist democrats are calling for violence in the streets. All over the Supreme Court ruling that sent abortion back to the States. These Marxists have declared war on the American people. They despise who we are. But abortion is just one of many fronts against the Constitutional Republic. But mostly they hate American citizens because of one man.

The man that still draws 50 thousand plus crowds, even in 100 degree weather. Where thunderstorms shortened the rally, but not the spirit of the people. This is what the Marxist democrats and RINO repubics fear. Losing their power over our lives. The raping of our economy and the destruction of our schools. The Deep State Oligarchy that is desperate to hold onto power that they will destroy peoples lives. The starvation of children and the product shortages. The rising gas prices and the inflation that is getting worse week by week. The attempts to take our rights away. The American people see what happening, and the Marxists know it. Abortion is not a kitchen table issue with the American people, the economy is. But we’re constantly told by the Fake News Media that the adults are back in charge.

The adults are back in charge says the Fake News Media. If that’s so, then why does the adult occupying the White House need cue cards instructing him what to do? When to take his afternoon nappy’s, and have his diaper changed three times a day? Does the Fake News Media still want to run with that narrative? As Jim Crow Joe Branden marches this country into World War 3, the fake News media is embracing the Great Leap Backwards.

Almost 250 years of Constitutional progress has built this nation into the powerhouse of today. Led by our Judeo-Christian values and a Constitution that defines the rule of law. Our natural God given rights to Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness are all at risk. The Marxist democrats are running out of time and they’re desperate to hold onto power. Rigging elections is just one means to an end. Indoctrination of Marxist ideology in schools teaching children how to hate their parents and their country. The persecution of political enemies. The silencing of Free Speech and the censoring of information.

As a nation of free people, we are being corralled by the Marxist democrats into accepting communism. It started over 100 years ago with Marxist infiltration into institutions of high learning. Then it spread into other institutions, slowly, but steady. Now the Marxists are moving quickly now that they have the media, corporations, the military, and the government. Ronaldus Magnus warned us that freedom is but one generation away and that generation is today. We must do everything to reverse and restore our constitutional rights. The “Great Leap Backward” in the pattern of communism is here and they call themselves, progressives. Sacred Bullets

Aloha Lāpule. Could it have been divine intervention? On the day the Supreme Court overturned the terrible Roe v. Wade decision, making abortion legal in every State. It was a holy and sacred day for Catholics. It is the solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ. Also, it is the solemnity of the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist.

This feast day was instituted by St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, a French nun who lived in the 1600s. The Nativity of John the Baptist always falls on June 24, while the Feast of The Sacred Heart is always held the Friday following the second Sunday after Pentecost. In an uncommon occurrence, these two sacred days fell on the same day this year. Again, divine intervention?

The prolife people are the sweetest, simplest, most unselfish people in America. It is rare for the sheep to win such a huge victory over the wolves. This is the true meaning of President Trump’s mysterious statement at the Illinois Rally yesterday, “God Did This” – Dinesh D’Souza

But wait, there’s more. The Supreme Court upheld the Second Amendment right to carry firearms without infringement. Meaning laws that require people to show just cause to either carry or conceal and carry a gun are unconstitutional. Justice Clarence Thomas wrote “that the Second and Fourteenth Amendments protect an individual right to keep and bear arms for self-defense” and that such a rule applies “outside the home.” Especially when Justices are being threatened by leftist kooks.

This means Hawai’i cannot deny citizens to legally own and carry firearms. Like New York, and other States that restrict firearms, the Second Amendment “Shall Not Be Infringed.” Also note that the States with the most restrictive gun laws are the States with the highest crime and murder rates. Restricting people from self defense just allows criminals that don’t obey laws to prey on the defenseless.

Gun Free Zones are killing fields. Especially schools where children are sitting ducklings for some crazed idiot to kill. Schools with signs posted with Gun Free Zone is just an invitation for maniacs. Ever wonder why schools with signs posted saying teachers are armed never get shot up? For the same reason why signs that say trespassers will be shot are rarely approached by evil people. Killers always go for the soft targets, the schools with no defenses, no trained and armed people to defend children and teachers.

Look at every State and Federal buildings. They all have armed guards. If the people passing laws are defended by guns, then why not children? Don’t schools deserve the same protections as adults in government buildings? It is also not a right only to be exercised “after demonstrating to government officials some special needs,” as Marxist democrats insist. The right to bear arms in public for self-defense is a right. That right cannot be encroached by government officials that are already protected by armed guards.

When seconds count, help is minutes away. That is the rule when someone is attempting to break into your home. Or when some kook tries to shoot up a church, a school, or a shopping center. This could have been worse except for the fact that Texas is a conceal and carry State. There are common sense rules and gun training that should be required. The laws currently on the books are not being enforced. So we don’t need more laws that restricts the majority of lawful gun owners. Criminals will not obey gun laws.

Apparently, many in Congress don’t understand the danger of disarming citizens. Statistics show that guns are not primary causes of murders. Crazies using knives, hammers, and even bare fists have committed more killings than those with guns. The reasons Marxist democrats use to justify in disarming citizens are idiotic. They blame the gun and not the shooter. Therefore we must disarm everyone. When a drunk driver kills someone, we don’t call for removing all cars. But that’s the logic the left uses against guns. Luckily there are those that respect the second amendment and the rights of citizens to defend themselves from criminals and tyrannical governments.

Fetal Rights

Aloha kākou. The right to life is written in the Constitution. It’s there on the original parchment paper it was written on. It is the law of the land. Abortion is found Nowhere in the Constitution. There no mention of either abortion or medical rights. Therefore abortion is not a Constitutional right. It is neither a women’s health issue either. The Supreme Court’s job is to interpret the Constitutionally of legislation. Not to legislate from the court, which is what they did nearly 50 years ago. It was wrong and outside the Constitutional responsibility of the court. Abortion was never a right, it was an abomination of the Right to Life.

As Ronaldus Magnus said in one of his great speeches: “I think all of us should have a respect for innocent life. With regard to the freedom of the individual for choice with regard to abortion there’s one individual not being considered at all. That’s the one who’s being aborted. And I’ve noticed that everybody that is for abortion, has already been born.”

President Reagan explain fetal rights it in the most simplest of terms. The Supreme Court has ruled that abortion law will once again be decided by the states. Which as it should have been before the Supreme Court ruled abortions could be done in all 50 States. Finally a deadly wrong has been righted. Personally, I would prefer all abortions illegal, everywhere.

Loony celebrities are now claiming that prolife people are racists. Which doesn’t make any sense since the founder of Planned Butcherhood, Margaret Sanger, was a pro-Nazi racist. She hated people that didn’t meet her standards of deserving to live. Sanger was also pro Klu Klux Klan and gave many speeches encouraging the destruction of races she believed were inferior. Planned Butcherhood does not provide any medical assistance. It’s a abattoir.

Suddenly, everyone knows what is a woman, after dancing around the debate of, “What Is A Woman?” Is anyone going to ask Ketanji Brown Jackson if she now knows what is a woman? How this idiot ever was nominated as a Supreme Court justice is beyond logic. How will she rule in complicated cases if she doesn’t know basic biology, as she claims not to be a biologist [sic]. It makes me wonder how she passed the 5th grade biology test.

So now, where are the transmen going to get their abortions? The people born with penises that believe they are women with the same reproductive plumbing that real gendered women are born with. The same male gender that demands female plumbing products such as tampons. I never understood where they would put those things, and I really don’t want to know either. It’s a war on women’s gender.

Jim Crow Joe Branden and Nazi Piglosi, both Catholics, say this abortion debate will on the ballot this election cycle. Perhaps, but I don’t believe it will be an issue for voters. There are more pressing issues like the economy, food, and energy needs. Abortion is a single issue that isn’t on people’s kitchen table. Plus, there are things women can do to prevent getting pregnant. Legal experts cite cases of rape and incest, but how often does that happen with the same frequency as hooking up and discovering biological females are pregnant in the weeks later?

Pro-Life activist and podcast host Christine Yeargin joined “In Focus with Addison Smith” to discuss Biden’s response to the Supreme Court’s decision overturning Roe v Wade, as well as the 13 states with “trigger laws” who banned abortions after the decision was released.

Those States are, Kentucky, Louisiana and South Dakota’s ban immediately went into effect at the ruling.  Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, North Dakota and Utah bans will take effect after state officials certified the rulings.  Idaho, Tennessee and Texas are all set to take effect in 30 days. Alabama and Mississippi will follow now that trigger law are constitutional. More States will obviously either ban or limit abortions as people begin to realize how abhorrent abortions are. An additional four states that have abortion bans on the books could take immediate effect again now that Roe v. Wade is overturned: Arizona, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Michigan. The status of those laws is still unclear, though. West Virginia’s sole abortion clinic stopped performing abortions. The majority of States are voting to abolish abortions.

This will strengthen Prolife Republicans in the midterms and in 2024. The unhappy far left abortion advocates wouldn’t have voted for Republicans anyway. Misery loves the company of failing leftist regimes. Violence is in the left’s nature. I fear for innocent people, churches, and prolife centers that will be hurt by the mob of democrat legislators that are calling for riots. If there is violence, then it will hurt Marxist democrats and their allies in Planned Butcherhood.

This is a moral correction 50 years overdue. This was original Supreme Court ruling was a flawed decision that was based on privacy. What today’s Supreme Court did was to look at the United States Constitution and discovered abortion was nowhere to be found. So they reversed the ruling and sent it back to the purview of the States. As it should have been from the beginning. What disturbs me is that these abortion people will defend the rights of animals, but refuse to defend the rights of the infant.

The argument that this decision will hurt so called “people of color” is a racist statement in itself. Reasoning that poor women won’t be able to afford a child is also a bigoted argument. Women’s Pregnancy Centers help women with little means with prenatal medical care, financial assistance, and support to help the woman make the right decision. Women that would rather protect life. Pro abortion people are part of that disposable society where the gift of life is neither loved nor valued. These women can decide to either keep the baby or give it up for adoption. In the end the fetal life is spared painful death of abortion.

Second Big Steal

Aloha kākou and Happy Aloha Friday. A special day because the Supreme Court finally righted a terrible wrong. Abortion is no longer the law of the land, but now left to the States to decide. Let’s hope and pray those States reject the murder of innocent lives. We can give thanks to President Trump for placing the three justices on the Supreme Court. They haven’t been perfect, but they got this one right.

Unfortunately, the abortion vampires are calling for violence. Including some legislators are trying to incite riots. Businesses are boarding up their businesses and women’s pregnancy centers are bracing for attacks from the violent left. Calling for a night of rage across America.

There’s a slow rolling insurrection, a coup d’état if you will, that is taking place in our Republic. Most people don’t see what’s happening, but it being done on several fronts by the Marxist democrats with help from RINO repubics. The implementer is Susan Rice, the hyperpartisan go-between coordinating with the Deep State. She’s is directly involved with planning the “Second Big Steal”. Another rigged election is coming. As Mollie Hemingway the Editor-in-Chief of The Federalist pens:

The Second Front: Starve The Nation. One way to overthrow a country is to starve the nation. Despots like Stalin and Mao Zedong starved their own people to seize power. The Gateway Pundit published a report about the number of food processing plants and other food sources that are mysteriously being destroyed. It makes you think. Why all of a sudden all these locations are being destroyed? Is it coincidence? Why are all these disasters happening under this Marxist democrat run regime? It seems too much of a coincident. Why is the Attorney General of North Dakota sounding the alarm, sending a letter asking Red River Trust, part of Bill Gates’ circle of affiliates, to prove the company’s land use does not violate the state’s Corporate Farming Laws. It’s not just Bill Gates, but the Communist Chinese are also buying up farmland. Wouldn’t that be a national security issue?

But it’s not just a United States problem, the head of the United Nations warned that the world faces “catastrophe” because of the growing shortage of food around the globe. Starving people start revolutions. Does this sound familiar to the plan the World Economic Forum (WEF) said was needed to reorganize world governments and economies? It’s exactly that they said they are planning.

Energy is being starved. Food, Water, and Energy, are the key components to keeping the economy running efficiently. That has been totally devastated by the Marxist democrats. It not by accident due to bad policies. It is deliberate. Again, it’s part of the New Green Deal that will promise a carbon free world. This follows the idiom of you need to crack a few eggs to make an omelet. Things might get damaged in the process.

Front Three: Racism. Another front is using the racial element. You’ll notice in the news all these reports by the Injustice department, members of congress and the fake news media hyping “White Supremacy.” The effort to defund the police. The open discrimination against Whites by corporations and in the Military, while Blacks are allowed to get away with crimes, often violent crimes. BLM and Antifa are allowed to roam the streets burning, looting, and murdering with no consequences. Attacks by Blacks against Asians go unpunished. The list of racial discrimination is designed to start a race war. This is being carried out by this regime and the fake news media which fans the flames of hatred. Notice how the fake news media continues to call the riots, “mostly peaceful”, as flames destroy businesses.

Front Four: Threaten Parents. The Injustice department threatened, and even jailed some parents, over the abusive treatment of school children by radical LGBTQ teachers. Subjecting children to pornographic material. Pedophile teachers raping children in schools. Branden publicly scolds parents and sic’s the Injustice department and FBI to spy and harass parents. Branden openly said that children belong to the state, not the parents. Branden said they [children] belong to all of us.

Front Five: The Southern Border. Former Trump administration acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf told One America News that the Biden administration has “torn down” effective border policies. He said this administration has now “dug itself a deep hole” with a record of more than 239,000 illegal apprehensions last month along the southern border. HELCO Dealership

Aloha kākou. Faustian deals can be found at Hawai’i Electric Light Company (HELCO). Their business model is changing from selling electricity as a Public Utility company to selling Electric Vehicles. I see the HELCO commercials on local television that promotes independence from fossil fuels. Where the bulk, almost 90%, of our electric power comes from fossil fuel generating power plants. Solar and wind provides only about 10% of our power needs. Green energy is expensive, dirty, and unreliable. But we’re being told that green energy is our future. Our existing electrical grid cannot handle the load if suddenly everyone started plugging in their electric cars all at once.

Besides the usual surface-level questions, what should you be asking to get a better understanding of EVs and if they fit your lifestyle? We asked Aloha Kia, Tony Hyundai and BMW of Honolulu on what questions you should be asking when purchasing an EV.”

One of the caveats with EV’s is driving distance to the next charging station. I know people that have EV’s and they must plan their routes before traveling. Providing there’s not a line of EV’s at various charging stations around the island. On Hawai’i Island charging stations are scattered around at different locations. You have to know where they’re located. At most locations there are only two fast chargers available. If it takes an hour for a fast charger to fully charge your EV, you might be waiting in the queue for awhile. When I fill up my combustion vehicle, it only takes about five minutes to fill up and be on my way. I might wait 10 minutes in queue for cheap gas, but gas stations are on almost every corner on the islands.

The one question that isn’t answered is how much will it cost to fully charge an Electric Vehicle. In Hawai’i, our electric rates vary from island to island, and district to district. Our electric grid is aging and in some places unreliable. But there’s this huge push by the electric company to switch to “renewables.” The magical unicorn of electric energy that somehow is perpetual and everlastingly clean.

HELCO does offer some rate options. There’s the existing residential rate where you can charge your EV at home during the day when rates are lowest. Never mind that most people are working during the day and not home to charge their EV’s. Then there’s the “Time Of Use” (TOR-RI) rates where you have two options to choose from.

Option 1 is no different than the current residential rates as far as I can tell. You get the same lower rate during the daytime either way. Option 2 allows you to continue with whole house residential rate, but with a separate time-of-use meter just for the EV. It allows your EV to be charged separately from your home. The catch is you’ll need an electric contractor and building permits to get that installed. It basically means getting a separate electric meter installed to charge your EV.

So instead of having one electric bill, you get two electric bills. One for the home and one for the EV. Still doesn’t explain the delta costs of either options. Noting that the rate costs and options are a snapshot in time and doesn’t reflect changes in utility costs over time.

I also want to point out a couple of points about EV’s. They’re heavy because of the batteries. That makes tires wear down quicker than gas vehicles. Tires are not cheap either. If you’ve ever noticed the amount to plastics built into cars today it’s because of the weight. Weight also uses more gas and also uses more electric battery life. We’re already are in a disposable culture where we fill the scrapyards with metal, rubber, and now batteries.

Batteries are also subject to temperature conditions. Extreme temperatures drains batteries faster. It’s gets hot in the Hawaiian sun. Also in the video, the EV dealers rate the battery life about 200,000 miles. I have a 2005 Honda CRV approaching 200,000 miles, and I plan to keep that vehicle until 400,000 miles or bust. My first car was a used 1980 Oldsmobile that had over 250,000 miles. I drove that thing into the ground and then sold it for parts.

Lastly, like gas power vehicles, EV’s can catch fire. A car catches fire every two minutes in the United States, and firefighters are well-versed in how to respond. But they face new hazards and challenges when that fire is in an electric vehicle. Nearly 2 million EVs are already on the road and many believe they’re the future of driving. Though EV fires aren’t necessarily more common than standard car fires, they require a different approach from first responders.

I’ve heard about hydrogen powered cars for decades. It is a viable option, but it does have it’s downside. The argument with all green energy is sustainability, reducing CO2 (which we need to survive), and dependence on hydrocarbons. I do not subscribe to the theory that oil will be depleted in our lifetime. The amount of oil in the ground is vast like the oceans and it replenishes the planet’s underground reserves. However, hydrogen is extremely volatile explosive gas.

In Hawai’i, the State is looking into hydrogen powered busses. Can you imagine? The Hele-On bus is the latest effort by the State and County to transition to Zero-Emissions by 2035. An unrealistic and expensive endeavor. The County Mass Transit Agency in concert with Hawaii’s Natural Energy Institute and U.S. Hybrid has its first hydrogen powered bus that will operate three routes on the Kona side of West Hawai’i. As an engineer that has worked with hydrogen devices, they are extremely labor intensive and need specialized training to service. We neither have that technical level of talent on this island, nor the facilities to service these vehicles. Energy is no free lunch and it has its consequences. I’ll stick with clean fossil fuels.

We were energy independent just a little more than 18 months ago. Gas averaged $2 dollars a gallon, food was cheaper, and water is where you find it. I’m lucky to get it from the sky.

Prolife Attacks

Aloha kākou. When God created man in His own image and likeness. God breathed His own life breath into Adam and Eve. I was taught that in school at a very young age. I have read the story of Genesis in the Bible. Life is a gift from God and we are stewards of that gift. I was taught that all life was precious and needs to be defended. Especially the very young and vulnerable. To the elderly at the end of life. Pope John Paul II reiterated the sacredness of life in his encyclical, Evangelium Vitae, because life is from God. Life was created by God and destined for God. The Pope’s encyclical emphasized that all life, especially the weak and defenseless, is to be protected.

The United States Constitution guarantees everyone the Right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Freedom. That include the unborn in the womb. When a murderer kills a pregnant woman, they are charged with two deaths. That acknowledges the life that exists in the womb. It is real and viable.

“I want to tell you, [Justice Neil] Gorsuch. I want to tell you, [Justice Brett] Kavanaugh,” said Schmucky Chuck Schumer in a video from 2020. “You have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price.” That’s a direct threat against a branch of government. Where’s the accountability? A the very least, Schumer should be expelled from the Senate. He should be arrested and thrown in prison for inciting violence and a riot. The obsession with death the Marxist democrats have is sickening evil.

Pro-life centers are under attack by blood-thirsty violent creatures. Modern day pro-abortion vampires that feed on the placenta of the after-birth. Planned Butcherhood sells baby parts for profit. Prolife pregnancy centers across the country are being vandalized, firebombed and workers threatened. Prolife workers arrived to see the words “If Abortions Aren’t Safe, Neither Are You” scrawled across the side of the buildings in red paint, and other menacing messages spray painted on windows and doors. A center in Buffalo was firebombed, its windows smashed, the office destroyed by fire and ash. Heads of the Marxist democrat’s aren’t saying anything to stop the terrorism. In fact, the Marxist democrats are encouraging violence.

Americans United for Life President Catherine Glenn Foster reacts to a pro-life pregnancy center that was firebombed in Buffalo, New York, on Thursday’s “National Report.” These are centers that help pregnant women. But if you haven’t noticed lately, there’s a war against women and children by the Marxist democrats and their army of evil allies. They actually believe that murdering a life is a constitutional right.

Women that are poor and without insurance are being helped with their pregnancies at these centers. These are women that don’t want to have an abortion. For whatever reason, religious, moral conscience, respect for life, and the very soul of the child and themselves. It is the right of the woman to make that decision. The Pro-Abortion vampires would force the woman to have an abortion. Much like the Communist Chinese have done to millions of women that violated the communist one child policy.

This Friday the Supreme Court announced they will be publishing their rulings on a number of cases. I’m expecting the repeal of Roe v. Wade. If that happens, then I’m anticipating an increase in violence against pro-life pregnancy centers. Will that also include attacks against Supreme Court Justices? I don’t know. The pro-abortion nutcases are violent animals, so I wouldn’t put it past them to attempt something. We still don’t know who it was that leaked Justice Alito’s draft ruling on Roe v. Wade. The longer that isn’t reveled the further the court loses its credibility. In my opinion, that’s the goal of the Marxist democrats. To erode the three equal branches of the Republic and transform the county into a socialist state.

As abortion clinics like Planned Parenthood close en masse in abortion-restrictive states, pregnancy centers open and expand access to care like never before. For this sin, they have become the targets of radical groups like Jane’s Revenge and Ruth Sent Us. Attacking pregnancy centers creates a culture of fear and impedes the empowering work they do to provide families with necessary parenting tools. The work of pro-life organizations directs desperately needed resources toward women in need. As freelance writer Ericka Andersen writes in an op-ed in Newsweek.

And so the War on Women and children continues by the liberal left. The corrupt Governor of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer, referred to women as “menstruating people.” Whitmer replied, “So, we saw where we thought Dobbs was going to be headed, and this was prior to the draft opinion coming out publicly. So, we looked at all the tools that I have as governor and determined a couple of unique things I can do. So, I brought a lawsuit on behalf of all the menstruating people in Michigan, 2.2 million.” This is a State governor, a woman, broadly including everyone a menstruating people. This is insanity.

A man in Scotland who has donated blood for more than 50 years was suddenly turned away this month when he refused to answer a new, woke question he found on the donation paperwork asking if he was pregnant. The long-time blood donor told the clinic staff that he was a man in his 60s and didn’t feel he had to answer such a ridiculous question. The staff, though, told him if he didn’t answer the question, they would not be able to take his blood donation. Even though there’s a blood shortage in Scotland.
