Aloha kākou. We’re told by the left that our rights come from man. Not from some entity that doesn’t physically occupy this earthly existence. Therefore, man defines laws to guide our social behavior. That assumes laws are also fluid. So as social norms change, laws change to meet the needs of the current social mood of the times.

In effect, our rights, our freedoms, and our liberties evolve with the changing cultural comportment. Fundamental common-sense needs are tossed aside to placate the wants of the here and now. The construct of common sense is the manner in which practical judgements are made every day.

The Founders specifically wrote in the Constitution that our rights come from the Creator. That we are born with these unalienable rights. These words were written in the Constitution as a clarification. That our rights are natural rights. Not an accord written by man. Any contract written by man can also be altered. As the saying goes, “The Large Print Giveth and The Small Print Taketh Away.

Any contract written by man can be nudged to meet the certain needs by certain groups, organizations, and government. Legislation crafted to coerce a population neither prevents unjust actions nor achieves social cohesion. This will inevitably be a loss of independence and liberty for the individual and society as a whole. This results in the transformation of an open and free society into a totalitarian system.

To maintain social order, the government may enact rules with rewards and consequences. The government may employ a social credit system that keeps the social order in check. Your cooperation will be required in order to maintain conformity. Otherwise, the government will punish you. In the following video, a man discovers a place called utopia is just a descriptive name, and not a paradise reality.

Without any mooring to the creator, our fundamental natural laws wouldn’t exist. Natural rights are needed to determine how Constitutional powers would be defined. Without those safeguards the individual and society’s rights have no clear definition. When the legislative, judicial, and administrative branches all act as one belligerent authority. There are no checks and balances to regulate the government from being all authoritarian. Instead, government becomes the social construct that defines the rules and boundaries for human rights. Rights given by man can be taken away.

Our rights are not defined by some government social order. Our rights are not defined by some interpreted idea of utopia. Nor defined by some faceless unelected bureaucrats in a department far away from the local needs of the people. A higher authority uniformly defines what natural rights are, Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Happiness. Which is why our founders taught us not to trust the government. Government will always be a necessary evil, but it must be contained, restrained, minimized, and ruled exclusively by the people.
