Joy Of Creation

StarChildEarth

Aloha kākou. “The Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul” — Genesis 2:7 — This is the moment when God created all human life. Without going into the lengthy centuries of biblical history, let us fast forward to today’s reality where the question of when life begins and where it ends.

President Donald J. Trump released a Statement of Life today. Trump gave his support for “In Vitro Fertilisation” (IVF) the most effective type of fertility treatment for those that cannot conceive a baby. Thump left the abortion decision to the states to decide when and how life will be terminated. It follows the tenth amendment where any powers that are not specifically defined in the U.S. Constitution, are reserved to the states. It’s not a happy compromise, but it does answer the election question.

Let us accept for this discussion that life begins at the moment of conception. Which it does. I believe Trump’s position on the sanctity of life is fair to both sides of the IVF and abortion argument. Personally, the decision to abort the life of an infant is abhorrent and unacceptable at any time during the pregnancy. As a matter of history, it is easier to destroy life, than it is to create life.

Which is why I can support IVF to a degree. The controversy is what to do with leftover embryos that are not implanted. In this age of science, religion, selfishness, and irresponsibility, the extremists that support abortion are misguided. Their claim that abortion is healthcare and a right, is neither. God created man from the dust of the earth, so shall man received the miracle of procreation. From the moment of birth, the journey through life, to the end of life. We’re all made in the image of God.

Consider the Christian saying from “dust to dust, ashes to ashes” at funeral services. The meaning refers to the cycle of life and death and suggests that all living things ultimately return to the earth from which they came. The aborted infant receives neither. Thus, the promise of life and creativity is clinically and sterile removed from the chance to achieve the rewards of life. Or at least the opportunity to try to reach potency.

The Joy of Creation is God greatest gift bestowed onto mankind. All life is precious and must be protected, nurtured, and allowed to thrive. Unfortunately, we must face the reality that we have to win elections. Marxist democrats use abortion as a single voting issue above all other concerns. This shortsightedness is selfish. But it is the reality that we’re forced to live in.

The years of rejecting God in the classrooms, the decline of morality, and the comforts of technology that now do the work for us. We’ve lost the art of creativity and substituted resourcefulness for technological comforts. When God gave us all the tools, we needed to be fruitful and multiply. Once we become trapped in our own ingenuity, God won’t be there to fix the problems we built into the machines.

“The reward of our work is not what we get, but what we become” — The Alchemist
