I took this picture pre-pandemic when times were normal. Although the inept Governor and his minions keep threatening to give us back our freedoms, but still haven’t delivered on any of their promises. It’s almost like living in Victoria, Australia at times, not always as violent, but just as fascistic nevertheless.
Hawai’i news reports the State has hit the 70% milestone of Covid vaccinations. We were promised that all restrictions would be lifted once we reached this goal. What did our inept governor do? He moved the goal posts, again.
Gov. David Ige on Friday extended his COVID emergency proclamation, including the statewide mask mandate and Safe Travels program for trans-Pacific passengers, saying the Delta variant crisis has abated but is not yet over. The proclamation will be in effect for at least 60 more days ― and could stick around longer.
Oahu has the state’s highest vaccination rate, with 72% of its population fully vaccinated. Hawaii County and Kauai are at 66%, and Maui County has a vaccination rate of 63%. Among those 12 and up in Hawaii, 82% are fully vaccinated (and 85% on Oahu). Although, I’m against people younger than 40 getting the Covid vaccine. It’s not necessary for younger people to get the Fauci Ouchy.
This arrest happened last year in December in downtown Honolulu. However, the HPD Covid Cops have since relaxed the brutality in favor of giving tickets. The neighbor islands haven’t been as brutal, but they have made arrests for noncompliance of the illegal Covid mandates. Now you need to produce proof of Covid vaccine to get into restaurants and other businesses. Still the businesses have to unsocial distance and have reduced capacity. Which makes it really hard for businesses to survive.
Remember that just a year ago we were energy independent. We were a net exporter of oil and natural gas. In just under 10 months we’ve now become energy dependent. Here’s the ironic part, now Jim Crow Joe Biden is begging U.S. Oil and Gas producers about helping to bring down rising fuel costs. OPEC told Jim Crow Joe to go pound sand when he begged them to increase Oil and Gas production. I seem to remember a certain Keystone XL pipeline that got canceled by Jim Crow Joe.
The regime will not renew land leases for oil and gas exploration. Those leases that were granted are only for 5 years. No oil company will invest in a 5 year lease. It’s isn’t worth the money and time. Expect gas and oil prices to continue to increase as this regime continues to deliberately damage our economy. Jim Crow Joe for over 9 months has been demonizing oil and gas companies calling them polluters and contributors to global warming. In the effort to phase out fossil fuels, the cost of goods and services are increasing across all sectors of the economy. This isn’t by accident, this is by design.
This also relates to the supply chain shortage. Several factors have come to light that helps explain this. First, we have no Transportation Secretary. The highly unqualified Pete Boodiekisser is on maternity leave for two months. The Alfred E. Newman impersonator and his homersexual boyfriend are celebrating their store bought babies. So in effect, Pete Boodiekisser couldn’t be bothered by such supply chain issues. Clueless Boodiekisser tells Fake News CNN’s Brianna Keilar, “We are relying on supply chains that were built generations ago. It’s one of the reasons why this entire year we have been talking about and working on infrastructure and are eager to see Congress to act to get this infrastructure deal through,” Did you get that word salad explanation? You’re the problem being consumers relying on a ancient supply chain structure that only the Marxist democrats infrastructure bill will fix the bungling this regime caused crisis. Christmas in January, maybe.
Second, Kalifornia restricts which trucks can enter shipping ports to transport containers. The Port of Long Beach and Port of Los Angeles will require that any new trucks registering for the Port Drayage Truck Registry (PDTR) to be model year 2014 or later, starting October 1. The new requirement applies only to trucks registering in the PDTR for the first time. However, the regulations, licensing, and costs associated with trucking is hurting independent owner operators. Many truckers will not enter Kalifornia because the regulations make it difficult and too costly to haul containers. Long Beach, and LA brings in 40% of all containers into the county. The problem is not a lack of truckers, the problem are the regulations the state imposes. That includes Covid vax requirements.
Third, a majority of containers are shipped from Communist China to the USA. Once those containers are offloaded, the ship must load the empty containers to be shipped back to Communist China. The ships won’t leave without the empty containers. Since much of our manufacturing is done in Communist China, we have few choices. Remember that President Trump was in the process of bringing back manufacturing to the USA so these supply-chain problems would not be occurring. Additionally, President Trump would have never allowed this this backlog of container ships from being stalled. As a business person that understands the working of the supply-chain mechanism, this would have been address before the backlog got so large.
Fourth, Jim Crow Joe’s pledge to open the shipping docks for 24 hour, 7 day, operation is not going to reduce the backload for the next foreseeable months. Instead, this is a push to pass the Marxist democrats infrastructure bill. The supply-chain operations is not a binary operation. It takes times to startup the supply chain. There are many moving parts that requiring timing and manpower for the delivery of cargo around the country. This is not a private industry failure, this is the interference by government increasing the cost of transportation, warehousing, and employees. In effect, the Marxist democrats created this crisis only to rush in to try and repair the damage they caused. Then the finger pointing starts. I guarantee that Jim Crow Joe and the Marxist democrats will find a way to blame this on President Trump. Don’t be fooled when the Fake News Media echoes this propaganda.
Remember we were on a road to recovery last year. There was a economic plan that included energy independence to keep prices down. We were increasing business activity and reducing government dependency post-pandemic. President Trump’s economic team was monitoring inflation and boosting economic confidence. The foundation for a speedy economic recovery is low energy prices and less government regulations. When the cost of energy is low, prices for goods and services across the board are lower. The value of the dollar is stronger. Our national security is more secure. Here’s how you run a hotel and apply the fundamentals to running a coountry.
President Trump understands the supply chain. As a businesses person running multiple enterprises President Trump knows how to keep store shelves stocked. You’re providing a service for people. Just look at President Trump’s hotels. When people spend their time at a Trump property they don’t see the operation going on behind the scenes, they experience the opulence of a well tuned stay at a 5 Star property. Everything from the hotel staff that places fresh sheets on the beds in the morning. Cleans the room and prepares it for the next guest stay. To the kitchen staff that coordinates the restaurants, orders the food to be prepped and served. The Chefs that prepare culinary masterpieces for a party of many to the individual ordering room service. There are many moving parts in running a hotel operation and a country. President Trump set a high bar and exceeded all expectations despite the backstabbers that tried to bring him down. I could use some mean tweet right now.
In contrast, Jim Crow Joe has never run a business, except his crime family business. Grifting off others to ingratiate himself at the expense of others. Many of the Marxist democrats are exactly the same. They use their office to enrich themselves and their family. Do you really believe Nazi Piglosi, Schmucky Schumer, Mitch McConnell, Lyn Cheney and others know how working people struggle during times like this? Nazi Piglosi with her $24,000 dollar refrigerators and million dollar mansions, these people live in a bubble that insolates them from having to deal with the hoi polloi. Meanwhile, her constituents live on the street with rampant crime and drug use. Nothing has changed and nothing will change as long as the Marxist democrats are in power. They’re too worried about climate change and regulating your lives to care. It only benefits them.
