Aloha Lāpule. Happy Cinco de Mayo. Today is the yearly American celebration held on May Fifth to celebrate Mexico’s victory over the Napoleon’s French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. Today. It’s more of an Americanized holiday and it’s all about the food and drink. So, let’s Fiesta!

Over seven years, Donald Trump Tweeted this picture showing a Trump Tower Taco Bowl and it caused the medios de comunicación (news media) to have a queso fundir (cheese meltdown).

One of my favorite ways of preparing for a fiesta feast is using American made Hispanic products. La Cocine Goya (the Goya kitchen) is an authentic start to creating a fiesta de Cinco de Mayo. There are many Mexican restaurants in Hawai’i. Each with their own creations based on cultural ethnicity, regional origins, and family influences. Then there is my attempt at cocina hispana. Which is subjective to polite discussion.

Back in 2020 when Goya Foods President Bob Unanue visited the White House where he praised President Trump for his support of American Hispanics and businesses. This caused the leftist loonies to have a queso meltdown and called for a Goya boycott. The boycott turned into a BuyCott which millions of Americans bought Goya products in support.

President Donald Trump and his daughter and adviser Ivanka rallied in support for Goya Foods on Twitter, amid continued calls on unsocial media to boycott the food company over its CEO’s effusive praise for Trump. I keep Goya products in my pantry all the time. They’re el mejor (the best).

But what do Hispanics really think of Donald Trump? We know what Marxist democrats want Hispanics to think about Trump. Democrats have always looked down upon Hispanics as easy votes because they’re poor and uneducated. Trump speaks his mind and says what everyone is thinking out loud. That offends the left, but for the average American, especially immigrants, Hispanic and others that legally came to this country, they agree with Trump. Listen for yourself.

Celebrities that hate Trump view Hispanics as “The Help.” The cooks, the leaf blowers, gardeners, and toilet bowl cleaners. The servants of America. Democrats has always had an exceptionally low opinion of Hispanics. Republicans never bothered to visit Hispanics to listen to them and offer help. Thats always been the way American Uniparty political parties have worked. Until Donald Trump came along, nothing really changed for average Americans. Celebrities like D-Listed actor John Leguizamo who abandoned his Hispanic heritage long ago to suck up to Hollyweird pedophiles. Leguizamo like many celebrities, has separated themselves from their culture and the working people. He has his money, and he could really care less for anyone outside of his little circle-jerk party of self-admiring celebrities. “¡Ay, caramba!”

What do Hispanics think about Trump around the country? Hispanics around the nation remember how good we all had it when Trump was President. We all had extra money in our pockets. We had more job opportunities. We had world peace and a better standard of living than today under Marxist democrat Pedo-Joe Biden.

Trump’s Tacos is a slap back in the face of Marxist democrats, and fake news media, which do little for the people of American. The working people are invisible to the wealthy elitists. Irregardless if people are either legal immigrants or generational Americans. We’re all Americans and that’s what both parties and many celebrities don’t understand. As for Donald Trump, he seems genuinely at home with the working-class people. A guy you could have an honest conversation with.

Trump is not a politician. He has a strong connection with the working people. He knows how to navigate around the aristocracy of celebrity and political class influencers. Those that have a bubble buffer between the elitists and working class. Those that take average Americans for granted. The police, emergency responders, construction workers, bakers, and product makers. The people that get dirt under their fingernails. The farmers and ranchers that grow the food we consume. The people that keep this nation running. The forgotten American. These are the people that Trump has a real and visceral connection with. We can get all that back. We need to get involved to Save America and Make America Great Again.

Mac The Nut

Aloha kākou. Makakema (Macadamia) nut trees are grown all over the Hawaiian Islands. The mac nuts start as long yellow flowers before transforming to green nuts. The nuts are ready for harvest when the husk starts to turn a brownish color or when they start dropping from the trees. Let them sit in a dry sunny location and the husks start to peel away. The nut shells are extremely hard to open and require a special tool to open to get to the fruit.

There are so many products made from Macadamia Nut sold all over Hawai’i. Every island has their brand of Mac nuts. The nuts go well as toppings for ice cream, spreads, cakes, pies, appetizers, and main courses. I sprinkle mac nut crumbs on fish, chicken, and red meats. Mac nuts are great on sea food such as coconut-macadamia shrimp, and macadamia nut crusted grilled Mahi-Mahi. Cocoa is also grown here in Hawai’i and that means chocolate macadamia nut candies.

Aloha kākou. America has always been a Cornucopia. This nation’s bounty has always been plentiful. The result of hard work and traditions is what built America into what it is today. However, something has gone wrong with the path our nation has taken. It could be called the Great Divide between ideologies of capitalism and collectivism.

Collectivism has been the utopian dream of the left. Also known as communism or socialism. The song “Imagine” by John Lennon spoke of everything being shared. America’s early history when early settler’s experimentation with collectivism almost starved people to death. Here we are again with that same liberal logic. Socialism is a test of faith and patience that we can all share in the fruits of each other’s labor and harvest. It was a tragic lesson of consequences long since forgotten. A year ago, farmers warned us of rising food prices and food shortages, but no one was listening then.

The rise of food prices is multifaceted. From the Covid Pandemic, government over-regulations, climate change fears, and the misguided elimination of farming. In Europe, the far-left socialists are attempting to shutdown farming because some non-farmers deemed farming produces too many Green House Gases. After centuries of farming and ranching, along comes some bureaucratic nobody declared growing and producing food is dangerous to the planet. That’s where all the eating of bugs mandates began to appear.

In America, the rising cost of energy, transportation, inflation, and dependence on foreign sources has contributed to the increase in food prices. The media likes to point to the Ukraine war, but that’s a ruse to deflect from this regime energy policies. Energy is the key to food production. From fertilizer, equipment, packaging, and distribution, all contribute to the cost of food. The United States survived without Ukraine’s help. We were never dependent on Ukraine. We’re a victim of our own government mismanagement. An economics student humorously explains why the cost of food went up.

As a matter of record, kombucha sucks. Why do people like this mushroom juice crap? But I digress. For any new arrivals to Hawai’i has experience the culture shock of our food, fuel, and housing costs. While it’s true that fuel and construction material must be shipped into the State, which is expensive. The excuse that food is expensive is only partly true. These islands do import a lot of our foodstuffs from the mainland. But that should make people wonder how the ancient Hawaiians survived before the arrival of Europeans. Actually, the Hawaiian culture has always been very self-sustaining. There’s always has been plenty to eat, drink, and be merry. Despite living in little grass huts.

Surrounded by a bountiful ocean of fish, crustaceans, and plants of the ocean. When chickens, pigs, cattle, and goats were introduced to the islands, milk and meats were added to the staple foods. Taro farming provided starches and native fruits such as Ulu (Breadfruit). Nui (Coconut), Manakō (Mango) and ʻŌhiʻaʻai (Mountain Apple) a just some of the foods available. Plenty of citrus, guava, and avocados grow here like weeds. Even salt is produced from the sea. It’s a backyard grocery store.

We have a Cornucopia of foods in Hawai’i, but the cost of food here is high after years of Marxist democrat mismanagement and taxes. That has artificially kept inflation high, driving up the cost of living. The mainland has the same issues as Hawai’i. Only now, the left has targeted farming as a pollutant to the planet. Therefore, we must quickly realize that our socialist leaders are insane and power mad. They must be replaced with more commonsense conservative leadership that will use the land for farming and eliminate wind and solar farms. Which is unsustainable, inefficient, expensive, and consumes land for farming-ranching food.

Aloha Lāpule. Ever read the labels on packaged foods before deciding on purchasing the product? Just to see the nutritional ingredients and what’s in the food product? What are food producers putting in the packages sitting on the grocery store’s shelves? Are they putting bugs in our food or maybe something else that we don’t know?

What exactly are bioengineered foods? What is soybean oil? Are these real eggs or lab grown eggs? Is it real milk and cream from a cow? Are these ingredients grown from natural sources or made in a laboratory? They don’t list it in the ingredients. But the product tastes funny and not in a hilarious way. It doesn’t taste like real food. It’s got an off flavor that I can’t identify. It even smells funny. So, why are food manufacturers pushing this crap on the public?

Why does recycled plastic have a greyish tint to it? Shouldn’t it be clear? Is the plastic container leaching something into the food? Remember when mayonnaise came in a glass jar? Now everything is in plastic. As a rule for my own household foods, I try to make my own foods where I can. One, to save money, and two, to know where the sources come from. So, I make my own mayonnaise.

Investing in an immersion blender is a good investment. It could be used in place of a food processer, and it cleans up fast. But both will work. Before food processors and immersion blenders, I use a whisk to emulsion ingredients to make mayonnaise, but that requires a lot of work. This is an easier method, and it allows me to refrigerate the mayonnaise for up to a week. I can control the flavor of the mayonnaise by adding a little more or a little less ingredients.

Ingreadaments, I used this misspelling deliberately, are important if you care what’s in your food. Already in some countries they’re putting insects in packaged products. All at the behest of the World Economic Forum and United Nations that want people to cut back on eating whole natural foods. At the COP28, the 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference, they’re lecturing people not to eat meat. They say their goal is to reduce climate impacts caused by emissions from the meat and dairy companies. They don’t want your body to fart. What business is that of theirs when they’re allowed to eat whatever they want. So, eat, drink, and be merry and ignore what the elitist busybodies are saying, but read the labels before you buy.

Food mRNA

Aloha kākou. Are COVID vaccines safe for humans? Are COVID vaccines being used in our food supply? I don’t believe anyone can answer that question with any certainty. Especially after all the efforts the government did to censor any information regarding the COVID vaccine. No one could speak ill of the mRNA COVID vaccines without getting a Scarlet Letter tattooed on their forehead. It didn’t inspire any level of trust.

Alternate therapies were considered too dangerous. Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine, and other therapies were dismissed in favor of the mRNA vaccine. They were forbidden from public use and discussion. Even when the inventor of the mRNA technology said publicly it wasn’t safe, he was roundly trounced. The pharmaceutical industries made a lot of money. After announcing a first jab of the vaccine, and then another, and then a booster, and now yearly jabs, one has to believe something’s wrong here. Do the COVID vaccines work or not? So, who is right? Must we blindly take the world of the CDC, FDA, and the pharmaceutical industries and just trust them?

Now, they’re talking about COVID vaccines in the food supply. That’s where the discussion becomes really murky. Frist, we must understand how mRNA technology works in the body.

The video promotes mRNA as a miracle drug curing COVID and possibly even cancers. How many times does anyone have to take a vaccine to prevent an illness? At what point does logic kick in to say this vaccine isn’t working. The side effects are buried as disinformation. The blood clots, long Covid, and constant reinfections after multiple jabs of the vaccine. Why is it that people with natural immunity are required to get the vaccine to work. Like the obedience face diaper that didn’t provide any protections, why wasn’t herd immunity accepted as best way to let the virus run its course?

Why is it when people are administered the vaccine, they must wait 20 minutes before leaving the clinic? Was it because people were passing out after the shots? Yes, and other side effects that were not common, but needed precautions in place. If the vaccine were truly safe, then why all the precautions?

What about the latest news that mRNA vaccines will be introduced into foods? Listen to two farmers’ opinions. on vaccines for themselves and their livestock.

More and more news articles are reporting on mRNA being used in our food supply. Everything from beef, chicken, fish, shrimp, and even plants are being modified with mRNA technology. But why do we need it?

MIT published an article which was picked up by Natural News that mRNA can be absorbed from the stomach and intestines into the muscle tissue. Natural News cautions readers to read what MIT had to say versus what the government and media are now saying in defense of mRNA “vaccine” administration in meat animals. Here’s a farmer that does inoculate both the livestock and his workers with mRNA Covid vaccines.

Rebel News posted an article about the science around these gene therapies that are being researched by scientists like Dr. Peter McCullough who continues to sound the alarm of mRNA injections whether in the form of human vaccination, or through our food supply.

Epoch Times posted a health article about vaccines in shrimp, pork, and beef, which are being targeted by mRNA gene therapy technology, and the risks are entirely unknown. This has cause concern with ranchers because these vaccines are not licensed to be used in livestock. Although mRNA is being used in pork products.

The pharmaceutical companies and the government have lost all trust after forcing people to take the Covid vaccine and ignoring the side effects. The Fake News Media, Fhony Fauci, and the medical community allowed lifesaving procedures to be halted to the unvaccinated. The regime ran a campaign accusing the spread of Covid as pandemic of the unvaccinated. You couldn’t work, go to church, and lives were ruined over people not getting the vaccine. Aloha kākou. Food security during these times should be on everyone’s mind. There was a time when Americans and the world could trust U.S. government agencies. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention were pillars of integrity and trustworthiness. Ever since the Covid hoax, these agencies have lost all credibility. The incestuous relationship between the government agencies and the pharmaceutical corporations have eroded public trust. They were supposed to be beyond reproach, but by all measures they have disregarded public safety.

It started with the innoxious food pyramid that was completely wrong. Which is why we have more obese people suffering from hypertension and other medical ailments. According to the USDA, food guides were developed in the early 1900’s. Over the years, the guidelines changed from food for health, fitness, and diet choices. Obesity wasn’t an epidemic back then and period pictures show that. We didn’t have the luxuries that we have today, and people were much more active then.

Then came the food pyramid in 1992 which encouraged a diet of six to eleven servings of starchy food: bread, rice, and pasta. The food pyramid changed in 2005 and again in 2011 stressing moderation. No matter how many times the FDA changed the diet recommendations they still can’t get it right. As the graphic above shows, the basic human diet over the centuries has been the same. Yet, the FDA warns against these foods because they’re considered unhealthy.

Now, natural whole foods are being attacked because of how they are produced. Food is now a pollutant. We’re seeing the development of synthetic meats, eggs, and fish being manufactured in labs. Insects are introduced as a way to reduce carbon dioxide and methane. Natural gases that are necessary for life to exist. Fertilizers release nitrogen to help crops grow, but that’s all being condemned as harming the planet. Replacing natural foods with unnatural sources will lead to predictable consequences.

This warning was ten years ago. The socialists in governments went into the universities and schools to warn the young and inexperienced that their existence was in danger because of farming and fossil fuels. The long-term consequences of dismantling the food industry haven’t really been felt yet. Food fads such as veganism and strict vegetarian are perceived as healthier and are low on producing bodily emissions. In other words, flatulence.

Government environmentalists have convinced young people that their future is in danger because of farming. They’re told that the machines that use fossil fuels to harvest the crops and process the animals into the foods that we consume are destroying the planet. Natural farming, which has been operating since the age of agriculture, is now considered a danger to the planet. It’s absurd to think that people must stop farming to save the planet, but it is happening.

This warning was over a year ago. We’re starting to see the results of the United Nations and the environmentalist’s interference in the farming communities. The elitists award themselves with accolades for causing mass starvation and world economic collapse. The World Economic Forum (WEF) and the European Union (EU) are using government forces to shutdown farms and limit the use of fertilizers and fossil fuels. This was always their goal of world control. Once energy, food, and water are controlled by the few, the masses are slaves to socialist oligarchy.

This warning was this year. Marxist democrat “Climate Czar” John “Lurch” Kerry is calling for farmers to stop growing food in order to meet the regime’s radical “Net Zero” goals for lowering “Emissions.”

“A lot of people have no clue that agriculture contributes about 33% of all the emissions of the world,” Kommie Kerry said during his keynote address. “We can’t get to net-zero, we don’t get this job done unless agriculture is front and center as part of the solution. So, all of us understand here the depths of this mission.”

Communist Kerry continued, “Food systems themselves contribute a significant amount of emissions just in the way in which we do the things we’ve been doing,” Kerry droned on. “With a growing population on the planet – we just crossed the threshold of 8 billion fellow citizens around the world – emissions from the food system alone are projected to cause another half a degree of warming by mid-century.”

Ah, there’s the rub. Producing food, eating food, and bearing children, causes climate change. Humans are destroying the planet by just existing. We must control the population by starving the masses to reduce carbon emissions. Kerry added that “lives depend” on world leaders and scientists developing the tools necessary to lower agriculture emissions.

The Farmer’s Almanac has been used over two centuries to look at past weather trends and when is the best time for planting. In Hawai’i, we have something similar that is based on the sun, moon, rainfall, and times when best to plant certain crops. A knowledge-based farming system based on experiences. Never needed a government agency or some bureaucrat that never got dirt under their fingernails.

Experience of the natural world through observation, experimentation, and testing, forms evidence based best practices. That’s called science, or more archaic, the knowledge of any kind of subject. While Kerry and environuts invent their own science based on fears, shadows, and unnatural events. Empirical data is then rejected by the environuts. The bureaucrats use these fears as leverage to convince the weak minded into believing they have all the answers. Even when they cannot prove their own claims. The facts bear down to this reality, no farmers, no food, we starve.
